Summer Workshop

Well, obviously since this is the next post after I posted at the begining for the year, Blogger didn't get much use from me.

I'm posting today as I am getting ready to attend a workshop on modeling in Physics.  I'm pretty excited about this workshop and I have high hopes that the information I will be learning will be of use to me next year in not only my physics class, but also in my other courses, too.  Only time will tell.

Back to School

I'm sitting here in my classroom, thinking about how I want to make meaningful changes to my teaching this year. Do I want to implement more technology? Move further away from lecture and more towards flipping and videos? maybe delve deeper into inquiry learning? This is such an exciting and also frustrating time in every school year. Set the goal to low, and I always feel like I should have done more. Set the goal to high and I get upset because I didn't do enough. I will find the balance. It will just take time and more organization.
